The Comics Arts Conference holds sessions at both WonderCon and International Comic-Con.
Please indicate the convention for which one you're submitting a presentation:
Presenter Information

In parentheses after each co-presenter's name, tell us that person's email address.

If you have co-presenters, please add a short parenthetical note after each co-presenter's name to state how each will contribute to the scholarly presentation. The number of professional passes may be limited. We might need to contact you for additional information regarding co-presenter contributions.

What you call your paper is up to you, but we may have to shorten lengthier titles when entering them in the conference program.

  Method of presentation:

Check ALL acceptable methods. We cannot guarantee acceptance if you check only one option. CAC receives more submissions for panels and oral presentations than will fit the allotted time.

Have you previously been a CAC presenter, whether at Comic-Con in San Diego or at WonderCon in San Francisco?

Will you need an acceptance letter to be mailed to you in addition to our e-mail confirmation?

The convention can provide a VCR, boom box, slide projector, and PowerPoint projector. They do not provide slide trays or computers. PowerPoint or DVD is easiest to use.
Will you do a book signing?

If yes, enter your information for one book:

  address (if any)

If your paper is accepted, do not pay for Comic-Con registration. (If you have already paid, we may be able to get that payment refunded to you.) CAC presenters attend Comic-Con with professional passes, with no registration fee for Comic-Con or CAC. You may also bring a guest who can attend with free registration. If other CAC presenters do not use their own guest passes, we might be able to provide you with an additional guest pass. Comic-Con has allowed us to do this in the past, but we can make no guarantees. A guest pass may not be sold or otherwise transferred to anyone other than the individual whose name appears on it.
Number of guests attending Comic-Con with you:

If you are bringing more than one guest, please e-mail us at comicsartsconference@gmail.com with your extra guests' information so we can see if other presenters are willing to register your guests as their own, subject to Comic-Con approval.
If you are not bringing a guest, are you willing to register another CAC presenter's guest as your own?

  Scheduling constraints:

Check the boxes to indicate every day which you will attend the conference.

CAC dinner (San Diego Comic-Con only):

We're continuing the "10th Panel" dinner at 7 p.m., Saturday night, at Hennessey's Irish Pub at 708 4th Avenue, easy walking distance from the convention center.

Will you join us for this dinner?
